Covy-Tucker Hill offers both companion, and showable German Shepherds. The differences between Pet and Companion dogs, Companion/Showable dogs, and Top Quality Show Prospects are:

PET and COMPANION: Some pets in this category are beautiful structurally. A male might be a pet because he does not have two descended testicles and therefore would not be guaranteed to have them descend. All our dogs regardless of sex and structure are intelligent and have excellent temperament and trainability and they are very pretty. We do not advise that a pet dog should be shown in the conformation ring or bred without our counsel or recommendation.

COMPANION AND SHOWABLE DOG: The showable dog goes beyond the definition of pet and is free of all disqualifying and major serious faults. With the proper conditioning, training and professional handling should do well in the conformation ring. However this dog is in no way guaranteed to win in the show ring. Structurally he/she embodies the basic type of the German Shepherd Dog and is better than average in quality and appearance. We advise that if you decide to show in conformation that you seek professional advice.

TOP QUALITY SHOW PROSPECT: A show dog is free of all disqualifying and serious faults. He/she is a rare animal that with proper conditioning, training and professional handling is able to win in the conformation ring. As competition is extremely keen it is impossible to guarantee consistent winning of any dog. Competition and judges opinions vary from show to show. Because of this we can not guarantee that this dog will finish his/her championship. It is of utmost importance to seek expert help. We are available to help you in any way we can.
